KRCA Board of Directors
Homeowners Meeting

August 31, 2016 from 6:30 – 9:30 pm

Kilauea Neighborhood Center

KRCA has contracted with Hawaiiana Management Company who has a Kalihiwai Ridge website access code of:
hmcmgt.com/39484

Agendas and meeting minutes will be posted on this new site along with all our documents that can now be reviewed by the public.

My Impressions

Apparently the three options to eventually be considered for the Kalihiwai Reservoir are remediation to a full pool lake - estimated at about 15 feet, reduction in size to 11 feet as requested by the water used easement holders, or removal of the dam.  A new staff gauge may be installed that goes to the height of the dam at 21 feet.  Access to the spillway for inspection and maintenance can now be achieved from using the driveway bordering on lake lots 12 and 13.  A lock and No Trespassing sign on the entrance gate off Kahiliholo Road is being discussed due to security issues for the lake front lot owners due to public trespassing on our properties because of the ongoing low lake level.

Until we meet again.

Aloha,
Maggie Lea
